The comedy “The Taming of the Shrew,” is all about love and marriage, and it draws much of its humour from its focus on the battle between the sexes. This battle is mostly about the woman’s duties and the role after her marriage. The setting of the story is between late 1580’s and early 1590’s, and the society at that time was different from the today’s society.In the Shakespeare’s time woman were to be spineless, and under the control of men; her life before the marriage was controlled by her father, and after the marriage it was up to the husband.

I have a really nice black cat about 2 years old and it is very loving and cute. After a hard day outside it does cheer me up being all soft, warm and furry. The only problem is that very occasionally it will try to impregnate me if i'm sat on a sofa, i tried ignoring it at first but now it just infuriates me. Am i right to be angry or should i be flattered, what can i do to stop it happening again? Thanks.
