Youtube converts all uploads into flash video, and as a result, some videos look like complete crap, while others loo and sound pretty good.
I have uplaoded up to 99MB MPEG-2 videos (DVD standards actually), however they are less than 4 minutes long. Yes, I do get that great quality, for a price.
DIVX and XVID seem to have a "lip-sync" problem, unless the audio is non-compressed, then we are back to that 99MB limit.
WMV seems to work well, all around, but you get that pixel-looking archive look, kind of fuzzy, at times due to the variable rate
MPG1 (or VCD) is "OK", but it turns out blurry, and the original size is smaller than YouTube's video window, thus adding to the distortion when it is enlarged on their website.
MOV (QuickTime), I never tried it on YouTube, and never really had a great compression ratio on other projects either.
ASF is about as good as WMV.
Any tips are appreciated.
