That I wish he had stopped and asked me before just assuming what he had read or thought......Because he didn't know me like he thought he did. Not the real me.
Instead I got mad and hurt when he asked me a question. In anger I said something hoping to hurt him.

I was wearing a maroon shirt and a black skirt once, and this one girl said " What's the matter? Are you going to a funeral?" I just said "no", but later I wished I had said "I only wish I was going to yours!".

I seen a girl today randomly (that I used to have a class with) and I wished I would have asked her if I could take her picture (I'm a photographer). She looks so interesting, and I don't know if I'll really see her around again.

My mother in law was talking to me once, as i was looking at her as she was, as you do. anyway, when she finished, she asked me if there was a problem. i said no. then she said then why are you staring at me? i kinda just looked away cos i was so stunned i didn't know what to say. a few years later i thought of it: "I was brought up to look at people when they're speaking to me"
