Get Stingose (numbs the area where it is applied) from the chemist, or this great stuff called Lucas's Pawpaw Ointment, also from the chemist or supermarket (in Australia). It's natural, and can be used for all sorts of things. It makes a fantastic lip balm, the best I've used, and it also never fails to stop mozzie bites from itching me, within several seconds of applying it. It's about $10 for a tub which will last AGES. Can also be used for gravel rash, nappy rash, minor burns, cuts, among other things.

Actually, you can use Meat Tenderizer.

Sound silly?

The ingredient found in Mangos is called Papin.

Scientists have found that Papin is excellent at stopping the itching, burning feeling of Mosquito saliva injected into you.

I didn't believe this until I tried it.

Check the Meat Tenderizer label to ensure it has the ingredient called Papin.

"The After-Bite Stick"... I believe thats the name of it, go into any pharmacy and im sure this is what they'll recommend for bug bites.... it always smelled the worst and stung like a b*tch, but it works like a charm, sting goes away in a minute. The second choice, if all sold out which is a possibility since it is so popular, is of course calomine lotion, used for chicken pox, although still not as effective as "THE AFTER-BITE STICK" =)
