Their neighbors were waching their property. I was working in another part of the state. One night I dreamed someone was being murdered in my folks house. It was so vivid I couldn't get over it. I wanted to call their neighbor and ask if everything was ok. I was afraid they would think I was being silly and just had a bad night mare. So I prayed about it. Next moring I talked to a friend. She could tell I was upset, but made me some coffee and assured me it was a bad dream. A few weeks later I heard about the woman who escapted the bad storm that night in my folks house. She had to break in. There was no electricity, heat or phone. It had been shut off including water. The woman managed to find enough old clothes, blankets and ect. to stay alive till morning and get help. How did this happen? The dream was so close to reality. I'm not psychic--never have been and don't claim to be. Had I called the neighbor it would have saved a lot of trouble. No one thought to look in that house ?

I think he does give us warnings sometimes in dreams to prompt us to pray against them. Whenever I have a dream where something bad happens I pray to God it doesn't happen.

No, because God doesn't exist. You were alone and spooked. Your dream is only close to reality in your own mind. And you are probably remembering your dream as being closer than it really was anyway. People change their memories to what they expected them to be. Look at the studies done by Elizabeth Loftus on the topic of memory.

NO. That's you talking – not God. People have false visions all the time like Charles Manson or Andrea Yates. Studying psychology will help you understand why people believe in what excites them – not what is real.

If god had control of destiny, why would he send you dreams with the intent of you changing destiny.

Seems a little nonsensical.
