My periods usually come every 24 days. It was late in Sept, on time in Oct, late in Nov (actually didn't start till Dec 1) and now it's like 4 weeks late. I took a home pregnancy test last week and it was negative. Is it possible that menopause can start so abruptly? Or should I expect to have another period, just not knowing when?

why is it for as long as i can remember i have had the strangest dreams about the night sky?

in my dreams i am standing outside my house looking at the sky, and i can easily see every planet, and then i see shooting star's' (i emphasize the S for a reason) and after i watch the stars fly by then i float? i start floating and i am scared, my stomach turns and i feel like i am going to vomit. then i wake up sweating.

can anybody tell me if this dream is trying to tell me something or is it just a nightmare?

i am also 18 years old if that helps.

it is a beautiful song with a full orchestra accompanying a woman's voice. she is singing only the words "i love you" in arabic, which sounds like beh hi bek. i think the artist's name is magida el roumi. can anyone tell me the name of the song, or the cd it's on? i have not been able to find it. the song is at least 10 years old. thanks for any help you can provide!

I have been married for 10 years. The first couple were ok, then our sex life went from a couple times a week to once every couple of months, to none at all. The last time we had sex I got pregnant and he said I tricked him. My baby is almost 3. I finally had enough and have lost all feelings for him, so I told him I wasn't happy and wanted to seperate. Now he is kissing my *** and try to get all over me and being super nice but, basically, I'm done. I don't love him anymore. I tried to tell him for years that we had to work on our relationship. He ignored me. I even suggested counseling a year ago and he laughed at me.. Now he won't let go and refuses to leave. What do I do?

Is there a moral compass built into humans?

For example I give a hypothetical situation:

A human child is abducted out of the maternity ward by aliens and taken back to their planet.

This child is raised by the aliens as their own, he is not mistreated according to their cultural values.

The aliens society views murder, rape, torture, kidnapping, etc. as acceptable behaviour.

This child is then returned to earth after thirty years on the liens planet.


Would this human be horrified by his new home (the alien planet) and be a 'normal' but ‘screwed up’ human when returned, or would he be exactly like the aliens? Does this mean that humans do or do not have a built in moral compass? What does this mean for our society and moral codes?

Please explain your answers. I thank you in advance for your insight.

As a teacher, I am longing for the days of Sarah and Michael. What happened to the glory days of pronoucable, realistic, and literary correctness in baby names? Was it just too much to name kids Kyle?

I am so tired of not being able to read a name without a parent-provided pronunciation key. If your baby name requires any sort of explaination, it is a terrible choice. If your baby name is not found in the top 1000 on the social security list, it is a terrible choice.

My question is simple: What happened to baby names? When did creativity become a prerequisite for child birth. Pick a name, spell it correctly, or plan for a college and therapy fund.
