to get somebody famous im sure they have a website or someting then you will need to come up with like more than ten thousand dollars

The answer really depends on WHO you want and HOW much money you have. The famous the person then the less likely you would be able to even get in contact with them.
Basically, you would need to start by contacting a talent agency or entainment lawyer in your city. Check the Yellow Pages. Then, after you have consulted with them and paid your fees, they will try to find the agency or manager they could work with on getting the person you want. More fees.
If you have an extra few hundred thousand dollars laying around the house, you could get a decent celebrity to turn up for an hour or two.

Well first I think it depends on who you want and then if they are available and if you have enough Money for them to be paid because unless you hire them as a solo act like just the singer it would be cheaper I know if you are intrested in older music like from the 60's u can go to this website www.tedfass.com he has done acts of Peter Tork from the Monkees and others check it out good luck kid

Start by checking your bank account. You need some big bucks there to be able to invite someone famous.

I hope you have a HUGE bank account. They will not even SPEAK to you unless you have the cash!. Sorry, but that the way it is.

how famous? campuswide? nationwide? worldwide?
and it depends why you want him/her to come to your party...to perform? then you'll have to pay professional fee. To impress others? To be famous yourself?
know your purpose first - why you are doing it, and you'll probably get answers.

Well you could call a radio station and they could probably tell you how because they talk to celebs on the air all the time and they have the celebs personal #'s so they could probably tell you how.
