Deep inside, I'm no more or less Moslem, Christian, or Jewish than my family members, neighbors or coworkers. We are people and we live and work together. So how can religion separate us from one another?

We are people without any religions, but don't know or admit it. That is because most of us inherit our religion from our parents, and never wonder about it, and therefore don’t know what it really is. Do you agree?

We need religion today because if we have only sciences we will blind for implementing the sciences. But if we have only religion without sciences we will be lime and receive it as it is.So Einstein the welknown scientist told us that science without religion is blind and religion without science is lime
Religion do not separate us.God created us in many races but God instructed us to live together, love and help each other although its religion and culture are different.
Yes I agree with you that most of us inherit our religion from our parents.and we do not know it really.
But you must remember that God gives us brain , heart and also common sense. We should use our common senses. Before
jewish, christian and islamic religions came into this world, our ancestors believed in idols.and being a pagan.Abraham prophet protested his father who made idols and worshipped them.
So Abraham did not receive his ancestror's religion because he used his common sense. It was not logic for worshipping what he made it himself.
If you know the religion of your parents e.g jewish religion you should study it deeply and make a comparability study with other religion i.e christian and islam religion which one is the best and logic because you have given brain, heart and common sense by God..By doing like that you will not be a blind follower.of a religion.

No i do not agree with you. You suggest everyone is the same and that no person really takes the time to think about their religious beliefs. Yes as kids we inherit alot of beliefs from family and friends but as we get older we realize certain things are different then what has been imprinted in our minds. This leads me to belive that you are a youngster probably 15 or so, but i could be wrong.

I totally agree with you.

Religion is (or was) the path to take humans towards God (Biggest power of the world, whatever you call it). Its the destination what matters and not the path. And its same for all religions.
But today every one (99.99999% people) are following religion just because their parents did so. No one is really thinking of why he/she is following that particular religion.

Most of us do not have any conflict with other religion. Then how come we can differentiate people on the basis of religion?

Like you, every one should think on this.
:)

Yes, I agree. We are subject to our up-bringing. But, know this, you know there are religions out there for a reason. God wants you to read the bible to give you the tools you will need in the future. You don't have to call yourself a Jewish convert or Protestant, Catholic or Muslim. Just read to understand. The Bible is a compilation of stories I guarantee you'll be able to relate to.
Good Luck and
God Bless

Religion doesn't separate people nearly as often as you might think.

This whole "religion divides people" thing is, in many ways, a myth. People of different faiths get along fine with one another 99.9% of the time. Different religious organizations, meanwhile, often work together on charities and things.

It's true that many of us "inherit our religion" from our parents -- but that in itself is not a bad thing. It's what we do with that inheritance that counts.

If you really want to know then read the sacred text of these and judge for yourself.

Read these and you will find that almost all religions say that you have to do something good to make yourself better in order to get to heaven. But, if you read the new testament you will find that Jesus said something completely different. There are plenty of people that were raised one way and converted later.

Religion will send you straight to hell.

It's a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that we need. Jesus was anything but religious.
The Pharisee's were religious.......I am religious to put my shoes on each day..I have a brother and many cousins who say they're Mormons, yet, they don't even go to any church. Yes, I agree, they don't know what it really is.

We don't need a religion. This has messed up the world. You are right, but we do need to be saved. Take a look at this website. It will tell you what religions have done.
