why is it for as long as i can remember i have had the strangest dreams about the night sky?
in my dreams i am standing outside my house looking at the sky, and i can easily see every planet, and then i see shooting star's' (i emphasize the S for a reason) and after i watch the stars fly by then i float? i start floating and i am scared, my stomach turns and i feel like i am going to vomit. then i wake up sweating.
can anybody tell me if this dream is trying to tell me something or is it just a nightmare?
i am also 18 years old if that helps.

your 18...my interpretation would be. Your an adult now and the sky represent your future. The stars you goals...you start floating closer you your goals and you get scared because the future is a scary thing. Im also 18 and had almost similar dreams but with a different scenario.

Perhaps you have a desire to be successful in life, but you are afraid of achieving it. OR You are slowly realizing how big the universe (ie, life, the world) really is and you are frightened by the unknown. It may seem big, but it truely is a small world.
Maybe the dream is trying to tell you not to be afraid and to just go with the flow.

Stars and planets usually indicate dreams and wish fulfillment, positive or negative. Getting sick in a dream indicated you feel others are preventing you from reaching your potential. (looked it up in my dream dictionary).
My interpretation would be that someone is in the way of you reaching your goals.

It is a dream about Death, and the fear of it is God telling you "not yet". He isn't taking you up to Him anytime soon. The sky and the stars are the Heavens or take the plural out of it and it is Heaven.

sky represents your mind and the unexpected things that can come from it. It also implies moods by its brightness or dull quality. Things in the sky that are threatening or strange depict the things on your mind that distress you or stimulate anxiety.
The sky is also huge and can show what an immense potential you have.
