I live in an apartment with free internet access. We're given an Ethernet connection in each bedroom. Each network jack is given a limited amount of bandwidth, I believe it caps at around 100 kB/s, which is terrible for me. Since I use bittorrent, which makes multiple connections at once, I could really use some type of device or software that splits the bandwidth between the two LAN connections.

Hi all-

I'm 21 and am just 6 weeks along. My boyfriend and I are expecting our first "unexpected!" child in September. I was just wondering what books you all have read and really enjoyed. Believe it or not, my OB actually recommended the "Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy" for me and said "What to Expect..." is a little conservative and outdated. Any suggestions, especially having to do with first time moms and having a baby while still in college are appreciated. Thanks!

when someone goes into places like bars, clubs, strip clubs, pool halls, movie theaters where handguns are not permitted. is it ok to have your handgun holster tucked in your pants and showing? can you show people your concealed handgun license when they check for ID? can you make the holster visible, so that people know that you ussually carry a handgun with you everywhere but not here because it is not permitted in this certain area but you may have it close by outside?

This question is for those who are financially worry-free. I don't mean wealthy people or those who don't take care of their own finances. I mean people who are working, raising families, and yet on top of their financial situation.

I am married with 2 young sons. What we make in take home pay covers well over our usual bills. Groceries and gas are budgeted, but a little looser. Saving money seems like a joke. I budget out our finances to the point I get obsessed with it. It doesn't seem to matter how much out of debt we get, we can always find some place to use the extra money instead of using it to pay off another debt. I'm really frustrated because I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Why can I figure it on paper, but can't make it happen? I write out a meal plan for an entire month and stick to it very closely, we don't eat out, and we don't go out. Because of our situation, I really worry about how my sons will learn to manage finances. Give me a clue!

This was a debate I was just having with some lunch-mates. One person posited that you can because agnosticism simply implies lack of sufficient knowledge to make an informed decision about something (in this case the existence of a higher power/God) and that atheism falls under a different umbrella entirely as a non-belief in God. So he says you can believe there is no God and at the same time acknowledge that there is not sufficient evidence to prove he exists and that the two are not irreconcileable.

I on the other hand said you cannot be both atheistic and agnostic because, as an agnostic, while you acknowledge the lack of evidence to prove God exists you must also logically acknowledge that there is not sufficient evidence to prove God does NOT exist. Atheist have made a definite decision on this point where agnostics leave open the possibility for God's existence while never actually saying whether God is real one way or the other. Thoughts?

Before I could hold my tears even when I wanted to cry, and I wouldn't cry easily either, I could cope with difficulties & adversities easily. And now I've become such a weeper, I can cry easily like if I feel misunderstood or just like basically nothing.... And I find my life kind of hopeless (don't worry I will never go killing myself) however I can't see my life is leading me anywhere.. I don't know if it's partly because of my relationship with my bf, we're in a LDR that we can't see each other often. However I know how much he loves me, and I do know that but I still can't stop myself from being sad and crying.

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with me? Maybe I just need some supports from some strangers...?

Hi Team,
I have an internal wall which is painted. There is a large brown stain which allways comes through when painted. I was advised to use gloss paint which hasn't worked. I don't think the stain is damp, it appears to be some sort of adhesivy substance.
I would really appreciate any tips.
