I live in an apartment with free internet access. We're given an Ethernet connection in each bedroom. Each network jack is given a limited amount of bandwidth, I believe it caps at around 100 kB/s, which is terrible for me. Since I use bittorrent, which makes multiple connections at once, I could really use some type of device or software that splits the bandwidth between the two LAN connections.

Thanks!

There's no way to bond those connections that will increase your bandwidth.

You can test your actual bandwidth at http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest to get a good idea of what your bandwidth really is.

It's likely that your bittorrent issue is related to the fact that you can't open the bittorrent ports directly to your machine, thereby limiting your upload capability. With bittorrent if you don't upload, your download ability will be severely capped.
