As a baby, I was not able to walk independently until I was 15 months old. (I was a very healthy, active baby otherwise). Would you parents out there consider this age to be a "late walker"?

It seems that the majority of the babies my friends and family have been having, began walking significantly earlier. And no, they're not being forced. It just kind of happened.

For what it's worth, my mom says I was a VERY "early talker". :) I don't suppose there's any connection between talking early and walking late, but it's an oddly interesting coincidence, isn't it?

I just wanted to let you know that I have recently been diagnosed with AAADD - Age-Activated Attention Deficit Disorder This is how it goes...
I decide to do the laundry, start down the hall and notice the newspaper on the table. OK, I'm going to do the laundry...

BUT FIRST I'm going to read the newspaper. After that, I notice the mail on the table. OK, I'll just put the newspaper in the recycle stack...

BUT FIRST I'll look through the pile of mail and see if there are any bills to be paid. Yes. Now where is the checkbook? Oops... there's the empty glass from yesterday on the coffee table. I'm going to look for that checkbook...

BUT FIRST I need to put the glass in the sink. I head for the kitchen, look out the window, notice my poor flowers need a drink of water, I put the glass in the sink and there's the remote for the TV on the kitchen counter. What's it doing here? I'll just put it away...

BUT FIRST I need to water those plants. I head for the door and... Aaaagh! stepped on the cat. Cat needs to be fed. Okay, I'll put the remote away and water the plants...

BUT FIRST I need to feed the cat.

END OF DAY: Laundry is not done, newspapers are still on the floor, glass is still in the sink, bills are not paid, checkbook is still lost, and the cat ate the remote control... And, when I try to figure out how come nothing got done today, I'm baffled because... I KNOW I WAS BUSY ALL DAY! I realize this condition is serious... I'd get help...

BUT FIRST... I think I'll check my e-mail.

My last period was on around Dec 20 and finished almost by the end of the month. So then on Jan 7 & 9 I had sexual intercourse. Then yesterday the 16 also. I had been experiencing nausia, and somewhat not wanting to eat stuff and kind of like neck-ache and back aches. Overall, yesterday I thought I had gotten my period which my period wasn't due yet. It was something very very light, I had a pad on because normally when I get by the next day im on it. So, when I went to the bathroom i just cleaned myself, and Nothing I had nothing at all. What could this be?

If Bush is interested in being a peace president, he could invite Iraq's six close neighbors -- Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, Syria, Turkey and Iran -- to talks that would save Iraq from its daily hell.
Is this right or not ,if not why?

I am going to talk to my future landlord about getting new carpeting in his 1 BR condo that I am about to rent from him at the end of this month.

The current carpets are throughout the entire apartment, 10 years old, previous tenant w/ kids just moved out after 4 years, but the worst part is that they are like a royal blue color.

I told him at the initial meeting that I want to rent the apt. but would like to get new carpeting in there, but he insisted on me seeing it after it was professionally cleaned (since there were a bunch of stains still on it & didn't look good).

I know that if he invests in new natural colored carpeting it will benefit him at the end also.

My question is:
What is the best way to convince him to do this, without me paying for it or pay minimal out of my pocket.

ps - I signed a lease with him already - if I back out, I lose my deposit, but if he backs out I get my money back.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Did anyone else stay home due to "inclement weather" today?

Inclement weather in my area means a half an inch of snow and a 31 degree temperature.
