Usually re: intelligence the word "credible" is used also...is it suspiciously absent from this latest Iran situation.

Now...it's "we believe"....as opposed to "credible intelligence".

-K- I have a friend, a single mom of three, 11, 6, and 3. The 11 and 3yr old are both girls and great kids, no problems what sooooooooo ever, but the bot whos 6, makes up for all the trouble his sisters don't do, or get into. He is completely rude to his mother,therefore any adult around the home, always thrashing the house, will be clean and give him 10min without being on him like a wart, yells and screams at his mom, when she tries to disapline him, she is about 100pounds he his around 65 so she can't spank him, without a major fight, and there is no father figure around due to his getting locked up. Shes a complete mess and don't know what to do or how to make him behave, so what I've been noticing is that shes been taking it all out on the 11yr for everything her brother does, and with the mother can't control him who is the 11yr sister suppose to? Lost for anwsers any advise?

My fiance has been divorced since Jan '05. They were married 6 years, no children. Lasty July, he convinced her to move to GA to be close to friends. We live in FL. Since then, she literally calls daily on his cell phone, filling his voice mail with tears, regrets, begging, anger, nonsense reasons he "has" to call her right back. One night, he wouldn't answer her calls and she literally sent the police to his home at 2:00 AM (from Georgia she called FL and did this to us because he refused to call her back!) She called 28 times on Jan 1 of this year. 11 times today to his work...He is at the point now where he will not even speak to her. He will not answer her calls, or listen to her messages. He gives me the phone at the end of the day and I listen to them and delete them. His cell is a work phone so we can't put a restraining order on her for the # or change the #. She bothers the receptionists at work to page him, and cries and says she cannot move on. What can we do ?

Last night my husband and I were laying in bed and he was laying over my legs playing with my daughter. Well, I started to fall off the bed and because he was laying on my legs I couldn't prevent it. I told him to get off of me while wiggling and trying not to fall. I ended up kneeing him in his throat be accident. I totally understand that it hurt but he blew up at me. He started by telling me F*** You, then he went on to tell me to blow it out of my a**, then he told me I was a B****. I told him that I didn't talk to him like that and that he was not going to talk to me like that. He told me that he would talk to me anyway he wanted to. I just rolled over and went to bed and left it at that. He has called me names before but never that bad. It hurt alot and I'm not sure I will ever get over it. My question is, should I just let it go? How am I supposed to act like I'm not hurt when I am? I know I can't give him the silent treatment forever but I don't want to talk to him

I had him evaluated for learning disabilities. HE is getting help by the school 30 min per day but he was not exempt from state tests because they think its ADD (medication is out) However he has a vocabulary that is unbelieveable. I dont understand why he doesnt even know the words it takes 45 min just to read a book...a kid book with mostly pics) and I have to tell him at least 25 words or I say sound it out.. any ideas????????

He has a receptive language delay, so he doesnt communicate with us like other 4 yr olds, I ask him questions, like "did something happen at school?" "what did your friends say to you today?" he doesnt act like anything happend, but its hard to know for sure, just within the last couple of days, he's had fits, he sais he doesnt want to go to school, he wants to stay home. I have asked the teacher, she doesnt know of anything happening at school, do you think he could be being bullied? do you think other kids may be picking on his language delay? what are some other reasons why a child would stop wanting to go to school? do you think it could be the teacher even? how do I get to the bottom of this? is there any way I could sort of spy? Any advise would be appreciated.. he's been going and loving it since september..
