Usually re: intelligence the word "credible" is used also...is it suspiciously absent from this latest Iran situation.

Now...it's "we believe"....as opposed to "credible intelligence".

Thoughts?

It's a new White House strategy. If it's not credible, then it must be believable.

I love reading between the lines. Nowhere in supposed Iranian intelligence reports does it point to a definite threat, it's always maybe, could be, might be, etc...

What do you know about Iranian intelligence. If something was leaked to the public, it's probably not that big of a secret.

I guess they hope that if they believe, the rest of the nation will too. Too bad we're educated in reading comprehension.

When they notice no one cares, they will change the language to "imminent threat".
