World leaders need not necessarily have any degrees. They generally show their leadership abilitites in their countries, either by their actions or thoughts or achievements. One needs to do something to enjoy the confidence of people in order that they get elected as leaders or representatives.
There are cases all over the world where film actors and actresses have become leaders in their States because of their achievements in filmdom.
There are also people who become leaders by virtue of birth, such as kings. In modern times, however, the trend appears to be that more well-educated people tend to become leaders than in the past.
I have presumed that the term world leader need not necessarily mean leading the world, but someone who becomes a leader in his country or State.

There would be very few world leaders with a masters degree and fewer with a doctorate. A reasonable number would have a bachelor's degree.

There is no minumum educational qualification world leaders need. They become world leaders because they can lead.

But it seems on average they have atleast a bachelors degree.

And some unitversities do give world leaders honorary degrees.
