I have had a migraine for over 24 hours(thats gone now) i am tired and feel dizzy plus my chest feels heavy..nhs direct online said i should phone 999(i dont think so!!) Anyone got any ideas whats wrong with me? p.s i am only 25.

My grandmother told me when she seen me with my MP3 that if I listened to it all the time, and really loud it could cause me to lose my hearing. I am listening to it right now. Is she right?

Note: Lowest setting is 1 (in my ears)
Highest: 31 (out of ear so someone can hear)

Me and my wife had an argument. I said we should spank our kids as a disciplinary action. She says we should give them a nice "talking to" or a "timeout". I dont want my kids to grow up to be little ******* but I dont want them to be violent. What should I do?

A blonde walks into the police department looking for a job. The officer asks her some questions:

Officer: What's 2 + 2?

Blonde: Ummm... 4!

Officer: What's the square root of 100?

Blonde: Ummm... 10!

Officer: Good! Now, who killed Abraham Lincoln?

Blonde: Ummm... I dunno.

Officer: Well, you can go home and think about it. Come back tomorrow.

The blonde goes home and calls up one of her friends, who asks her if she got the job.

I have a Canon sd800is. When set to maximum mega-pixels and on superfine quality, the photos a are 4000-5000 kb each. This makes it hard to upload and send (takes forever per photo). Does te max setting just give you a larger photo of the same quality if you set it on a lower setting, say 600x800 (medium low setting)?
Also, I have read or heard that the larger the file size, the more chances of getting compression noise in the photos if reduced to a smaller size printed photo? Help! Thank you!

I'm thinking about going abroad about May time but i want to make sure the place i'm going is going to be hot. I was thinking Turkey or Tenerife, but Tenerife can be expensive. Is there any where that is hot which is farily cheap?

Lately I have been hearing people use the expression "not so much" in ways that I never heard years ago. For example, on a TV show, I heard a woman say, "This one is great, but this one.....not so much". I have even heard people use it alone when commenting on something. They'll just point to something and say, "Not so much". Does anyone know where or how this particular usage of this expression originated? I did not hear this until a couple of years ago.
