I loved it - loved the characters- the storyline, loved it all - and I believe they managed very well to involve a fictional story along with the truth of what really happened - many of the characters on James Camerons titanic were people who were actaully on the Titanic in real life all those years ago. I have lost count of hwo many times I have watched it and I have cried every single time!!

I was not really a story about the titanic more about the love affair between the 2 main characters. Watch A night to Remember if you want to see a really moving story about the sinking of the Titanic. I think it came out in the 50's. It's in B&W and it is so sad.

Are we talking about James Cameron's 1997 masterpiece? I did not watch the movie until it was on television a few years ago (I think that at the time it was meant to be the central movie for the Christmas line-up on the BBC).
I think it is a great movie and although it turns the historical story into more of an action packed film; at least it will encourage people to watch it and find out more.

titanic is as great film but i rekon if there ever is another 1 then it could never be as good as the 1st 1. i meen how do you make a great sequel to a great film? and if a sequel was made what would it be about? you cant make another film about the same people falling in love on a ship that in the end sinks and one of them dies! even though i think all of these thingfs i do also really hope another is made just to see what it turns out like!

I didn't think much of it to be honest. the film focused more on the love story than the fact it was actually a terrible disaster. I think if your going to touch on a topic of disaster, you shouldn't overshadow it with a love story and soppy mush.

It was very overrated. I watched it not too long ago with my wife and we laughed the entire time because the script was horrible. Titanic does not age well.

It was a bloody load of sh*it, and you're an illiterate twerp. Fatty Winslet couldn't act her way out of a paper bag, and De Crappio looks like an over made-up rent boy.

It was so hyped that people who believed the hype liked the film. It could have done with some serious editing, in my opinion.

First Class passengers, 130 died. Third Class passengers, 536 died. They should make a movie about that.
