Ive been dieting since new year - dropped my calorie intake to around 1200 a day and am powerwalking 2 miles every other day and doing 30 sit ups - but despite all that i have only lost 6 pounds!!!! I want the weight to go slowly so i dont put it back on but is there something im doing wrong or summat im not doing?

Over the holiday break my husband told me he had found a drawing in my sons sleep pants that was XXX rated and of homosexual content. I spoke to my son about it and he said it was about a kid at school. I went into how it is not appropriate behavior and not for school. I asked him if he had any questions of sexual nature. I went on to tell him he could talk to and I understand he has alot of new feelings and changes going on and that he can come to me. I made him aware of how much trouble he could get into at school. Then today I get a call saying that a picture was found in his desk by another student. He was sent to the office given detention and I was called. I am so mortified I don't know how to act. Does anyone have any advice?

I usually work 12 hour days but due to a shortage of shifts the only ones available are nights, which I have had to take. Does anyone have any good advice for preparing for a 12 hour night shift; 8pm - 8.15am? I start Wednesday night, for 2/3 nights. How do you dress? Would you rather dress warm and toasty and comfortable? Or do you dress to impress no matter the cost.

The reason I ask is I seem to be in this lazy phase. I am unmotivated to dress nice for work. If i buy pants for work they are stretchy and comfy instead of sophisticated looking. So how do u resist the urge to bum? Or just what makes you want to look nice?

From what i understand Junior College are a cheaper way to get into UC but what are some cons of it. I mean if Junior College allowed u to get into a UC more easier than a freshmen and is cheaper why isnt everyone doing that instaed?

We all have company laptops.

The company has always had a "computer usage policy" which prevents us using our machines for anything other than company business, but everyone ignores it and the company have always turned a blind eye.

However, we now have a new IT Director who is clamping down.

A friend has already been disciplined and given a written warning and now the new IT Director has asked us to bring our laptops into the office so they can be inspected.

I have never used it for "adult" websites, but I doi have all sorts of other programs in use that officially I should not.

Apart from (i) deleting any programs that shouldn't be there (ii) emptying the recycle bin (iii) clearning out word and excel of all personal files and folders (iv) deleting cookies (v) clearing "my favourites"... is there anything else I need to do to "clean" on my machine before I get an a** kicking ?

All advice gratefully received.

My mother told me once when this man insulted her in her home, and I was about to hit him. she took me to another room and said now, dont do what I saw you were about to do,she could see it in my eyes., God can do a much better job then you can.
he fell on the front step the next day. and broke his leg

I remembered this later when a man after I paid him for some work on my home.without him competing the work never came back to finish.
he fell off a house and broke his leg in four places I heard,about a month later.and he hasnt worked in two years

I quess Its true that God handles things?

Okay, so my new boyfriend is hot, good-looking, sweet, gentle and is very caring. i love him and he loves me too.
But we have problems having sex. it seems like we both don't get so high because he doesn't have quite a big penis. we try several position but it doesn't help enough. sometimes, we both hardly feel it.
