I guess it would depend on where you live. I live in a little town in Indiana where the standard of living is lower probably than a big city. Because I spend $80.00 a week on a family of 3 and we have our fridge stuffed to the top! I guess it also depends on where you shop. I go to Save-A-Lot. They have such low prices. I would suggest shopping at a store like. You will get more for your money.

To feed a dog, a parakeet, fish, a hampster, two adults, a 4 yr old and a 1 year old...about $125 a week, including diapers. I do alot of cooking at home and make almost everything from scratch.

about $80.00. I do okay, I've got it to where I can spend around $160 every pay (2 weeks) and don;t have to go back except for maybe milk or dog food. and that's for 2 people.
