I like the name Torin. I like it for one sex, but I'm not sure if it's more often used for the other sex. What sex do you think the name Torin goes better with? And do you know any Torins? Are they boys or girls? Thanks.

I immediately think boy, but then it reminds me of Lauren so I think girl. Either way I think you're ok.

I don't know anyone named Torin but I think it can be used as both. Personally, I like it used for a girl.

Yes, I actually know a Torin, spelled Torryn. Girls or boys, but for me--girls.

Never heard the name? before. Torin, sounds masculine, weeney, but masculine.

Torin, sounds like a mispronounced tearing....he was torin thru the place like a bat out of hell.....
too many things rhyme....kid will get a lot of grief.

i definetely like the name...i think that it can be both...personally i like it for a boy but i have heard it as a girls name...i think that the main girl on Bring It On was named Torin or Torence or something like that and they called her Tor,..i dont know..that was a while ago :) anyways!! my daughters name is Bailee and everyone thinks that is a boys name...go with your heart! who cares what anyone else thinks :) if you like it for a certain sex..then do it...you could always make them have a nickname

It's a masculiine name. However, if you want the name for a girl, spelling it Torynne leaves little doubt as to your wee one's gender.
