I immediately think boy, but then it reminds me of Lauren so I think girl. Either way I think you're ok.

I don't know anyone named Torin but I think it can be used as both. Personally, I like it used for a girl.

Yes, I actually know a Torin, spelled Torryn. Girls or boys, but for me--girls.

Never heard the name? before. Torin, sounds masculine, weeney, but masculine.
Torin, sounds like a mispronounced tearing....he was torin thru the place like a bat out of hell.....
too many things rhyme....kid will get a lot of grief.

i definetely like the name...i think that it can be both...personally i like it for a boy but i have heard it as a girls name...i think that the main girl on Bring It On was named Torin or Torence or something like that and they called her Tor,..i dont know..that was a while ago :) anyways!! my daughters name is Bailee and everyone thinks that is a boys name...go with your heart! who cares what anyone else thinks :) if you like it for a certain sex..then do it...you could always make them have a nickname

It's a masculiine name. However, if you want the name for a girl, spelling it Torynne leaves little doubt as to your wee one's gender.
