A man and his wife are awakened at 3 o'clock in the morning by a loud
pounding on the door. The man gets up and goes to the door where a
drunken stranger stands in the pouring down rain.

"Can you give me a push?" he asks while hanging onto the door frame.

"Not a chance" says the husband -- "It's 3 o'clock in the morning!". He
slams the door and returns to bed.

"Who was it?" asks his wife.

"Just some drunk wanting a push" he answers.

"Did you help him?" she asks.

"No, I didn't -- it's three in the morning and raining like crazy out."

"Well, you have a short memory" says his wife. "Can't you remember about
three months ago when we broke down on vacation and those two strangers
helped us? I think you should help him."

The man does as he is told and gets dressed and goes out into the
pounding rain and calls out into the dark, "Hello, are you still there?"


"Yes," comes the answer.

"Do you still want a push?" calls out the husband.

"Yes, please!" comes the reply from the dark.

"Where are you?" asks the husband.

"Over here on the swing!" the drunk replies

I just set-up 70 gal goldfish tank where I had plan to keep not more than 4 adult goldfish, now everything is going well, finally its time to add goldfish. I want to keep goldfish, which is of fancy verities and expensive one (not commonly found in other's fish tank). I just want other to think that it is something special, more than likely.

My wife and I have been through some bad times I cheated once she cheated once. The difference is that I was falsely jailed because she got mad at me. I went one month without seeing my 2 boys and was torn apart. I took her back but now am unhappy and ready to move on. We tried counseling and it wasn't enough. Now she won't go to a new counselor. she used to get violent and has a mean streak.

Im not really sure if you guys understand, but ive discribed my best....
okay, im not sure if im getting my period soon and thats y its happening but it seems kinda wierd.....
sometimes, my lower belly to my vagina (a bit below my belly button inside of my body- the inside of the vagina) would kinda hurt for 1 or 2 seconds and then stops hurting...and then it sometimes repeats a couple times and stops.....sometimes my stomach aches alot (not in the lower belly though)but i dont really get cramps unless i run (like after having my lunch)...is my period comming soon? and has this happened to you guys?

Thank you again for being so good to me. You have a long history of sending very nice, poetic, thoughtful emails. I am not as creatively inclined but I'd like to tell you some things from the heart. You are full of kindness. I can trust you, and I have immense confidence in you. You have personal integrity which I find admirable, respectable, and endlessly attractive.

My life revolves around Nessa most of the time, and you have never made me feel bad about not being able to give you my full attention. I always knew I had to be extra careful in choosing who to spend time with because of having an impressionable, vulnerable young person in my care. Therefore I did not want to get in over my head too quickly, and lose sight of what is important. But I've gotten to know you over the past many months, and since I have a moment, I wanted to take the time to make sure you know how much I appreciate you.

First of all I want to thank you again for being so flexible and understanding. You see that I do not have the freedom of a single person, and even though you do not have a child of your own you understand as if you did. In fact you work together as a team when we're all together, especially the little details such as holding a door or helping with a jacket. Those things you do I deeply appreciate and make you a hero to me. I know you well enough to know that you're not just putting on an act, you are just a naturally helpful soul. Plus you set such a good example in front of my girl, and you can't even put a value on something like that especially when there has never been a good example like that in her life before. The fact you treat me well reflects back to her so it's a double good deed.

If I never got mixed up with a bad guy many years ago, if history could be changed I simply wish I could have had a child with you instead. Had we somehow been able to meet a decade ago, wouldn't things be different. The imagination can crank out endless possibilities but perhaps the right time never was back then, for either of us. We only have today, and the mystery of the future to work with. Fantasizing about what could have happened in the past is useless, so that leaves fantasizing about the future.

I don't believe in fate or destiny, I feel that what happens in life is largely influenced by acting upon what you want to happen. In a way I think it's a mistake to lay back and think "this was meant to be," because then people stop putting forth an effort and don't have to make decisions. And that line of thinking can also wrongly justify staying in a bad situation, such as in abuse-- such if someone already has it in their head that "this was meant to be," and is too stubborn to see things falling apart. So, even though it is romantic to think that you and I were "meant to be," I think it is far more more beautiful to know that some things really are in our control. I want you. (Not just sexually.) Today, and tomorrow, and thereafter, and I am willing to work for it and work with you to achieve mutual goals.

Thank you so much for being a part of my life. Thank you for coming into the New Year with me. This is very special to me. You are very special to me. You have given me hope and a sense of belonging. Sometime I feel like only now my life has really begun since I met you. Instead of trapping me, you have freed me. Since I do not have to rely on wishful thinking, I do not have to call you the man of my dreams. You are not a fantasy, you are a reality.

ok well this girl that goes to my school. Me and her friends are pretty close and we talk a lot, but for some reason, this girl never ever try talking to me or even say hi. When i pass her in the hall she just keeps on walking with her head down, or if i was with one of my friends, she would talk to them...shes friendly to pretty much everyone but just now me WHY!!!!!
....wats with her, does she hate me or something casue she doesnt show any body language that shows she likes me

Two elderly ladies had been friends for many decades. Over the years they had shared all kinds of activities and adventures.. Lately, their activities had been limited to meeting a few times a week to play cards.

You have a child, your child grows up a very polite, well educated person. They get a full scholarship, and go off to college. One day, you see on t.v. that a student has climbed on top of a building and opened fire on fellow students, killing several.
To make a long story short, you soon find out that the killer is your child. He/she shows no remorse and refuses your visits and mail and even says "Having you for a parent is the biggest disgrace of my life." Years later the death penalty is awarded to your child. One year later at 3 am in the morning you get a phone call---"Dad/Mom, they are going to execute me tomorrow after midnight, and they say I can have one person there"----will you go? Why will you go? He/she did not say they were sorry.


my point is---if you are able to love your child that much
would God love you any less? Can we love more than and be more forgiving than God? no, God will never forsake you either
