Hi. Lets start with the basics. You'll probably want to wear a sports bra and cotton undies. A sports bra will hold you in place and make it more comfortable when you pick up the intensity, and the cotton undies are much better than polyester -- they'll keep you from getting a urinary tract infection.
If you feel a sports bra is a little too revealing to wear without a coverup, you could wear a nice cotton t-shirt overtop of it. If you get hot, you can take it off later as the class progresses.
You could also wear shorts, capris or yoga pants. You'll want something with spandex that will give a little stretch when you stretch. Stay away from any type of denim or polyester shorts, as they provide no stretch, are thick, hold sweat, and will make you miserable.
Ankle socks or peds are good and pretty stylish right now, so don't go showing up in knee-highs! Not only will they not stay up, you may hear a few giggles.
And as others have suggested wear comfortable athletic shoes. You may want to invest in a nice pair of aerobics shoes. They're specially created to support the insoles while you do a high intensity workout. If you've ever done aerobics in walking shoes, then in aerobics shoes there is a difference. For your first class though, any comfy type tennis shoes will suffice.
As you really get into your class after you've gone a few times, you'll get a feel of what others wear and your style will probably migrate toward that a little bit. If everyone there is casual, your wardrobe probably will be too. Or if everyone there wears matching sports bra and shorts, so will yours. Sometimes it's fun to just fit in and be part of the group.

Be comfortable, you may be doing some stretching, etc., or you may just want to get a jump start! I would wear some work out pants. You can find a variety at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ross, etc., that are looser, spandex mix, and comfortable. Wear a comfortable T shirt and a sports bra as well under the T. You want to be comfortable!

DONT WEAR JEANS! it will be so uncomfortable
wear a light tanktop or shirt
and wear soffees (those sweatpants that are shorts) or any other type of excercise shorts. you could also wear capri sweatpants. you can also wear tights under a long tanktop for a cuter look. wear athletic shoes too

I would wear any type of athletic pantas or shorts. You can even pull of sweat pants or pajama pants.
tshirts usually work best or tank tops. I work out quite frequently. Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes
