help! every time i try to play a song i downloads windows media player says windows media player encounter a?

problem.what can i do it always worked befor.

Reinstall Windows Media Player? Or use all the other media players out there (VLC media player, Media Player Classic, Winamp, etc). If not, then the song is bad? Re-download, perhaps? I seriously doubt the codec is at fault here, unless the person who recorded the song encoded the song in a rarely used codec that requires the downloading of that codec to decode the song.
