It wasn't funny at the time, but I guess now 2 years later I can find a little humor in this.

My family used to have a house by the countryside...one day I accidentally stepped on fire ants, and they started crawling through all my clothes. I had to strip EVERYTHING off, and run about a mile back to my house!

Thankfully nobody was there to see this (i am very SHY), but it was in BROAD DAYLIGHT and there was a road right behind me that nobody ever used.

If you had been driving down that road that afternoon and saw me running back to my house...in the alltogether...and knew i was okay, what would you say or do to make me BLUSH the most?

my computer has a trojan running through it that has blocked all admin. functions on my computer. I can not add/delete files, system restore. Does anyone have any ideas how to get them off my system with out having to wipe my hard drive? It won't let me install anti-virus/ anti-spyware software

Official papers released today in London, reveal that the French government in 1952 wanted France to become part of UK with HM Queen Elizabeth as head of state. The PM Anthony Eden rejected the idea. The French then said they wanted to join the British Commonwealth.

This information was put out on BBC Radio 4 News at 0800 GMT London.

Am I the only person who is annoyed about those dumb Head-On commercials? What is that crap even for? The commercial never even says what the hell it does! If it's for headaches, then why are they so freaking vague?

Not to sound egotistical at all, but this seems pretty odd indeed. I was part of the popular group in highschool, played Sr. basketball, volleyball and soccer, partied lots, and come from a good home. I have had little "flings" or shortlived mutal crushes. However, in the end nothing works out and I usually get bored or get extremely turned off by the smallest thing. I know I sound pathetic, but I feel like I could very well be the last girl on the planet to be single. Any comments or suggestions... I don't want to become that "crazy cat lady"!

A dear friend has a dream of being a fashion designer. She completed a teaching degree and then went on to do a couple of years of some sort of design qualification but had to stop for personal reasons. Is there something she can do to get a foot in the door somewhere and progress towards her dream? I'm an engineer and don't really have any idea about the fashion business.

Still, the classic problem of not being able to get a job without experience but you can't get experience without having been in a job for a while is stopping her from getting a start. Unusually(?), she can't stand the concept of working in retail (for example, a dress shop), although I've suggested that might be helpful.

Is going back to uni a prerequisite? Is there a way she could do something part-time and not take 10 years to get somewhere?

I think she'd appreciate any sort of insights or suggestions.
