Burn almost anything and condense and then distill the water out of the combustion exhaust. The reason for this is that most things that burn contain hydrocarbons, and H20 is a common combustion product. Distill what comes out of your car exhaust. Maybe you want to remember this as a SURVIVAL tactic? When lacking water for drinking, find something that'll burn.

Water is actually made any time there is a combustion reaction. An alkane that is combusted in the presence of oxygen creates carbon dioxide and water... so yes, it can be produced artificially.

yes water can be made artificially. hydrogen and oxygen under high pressure can be get reacted for further reaction to form H2O. but this method is very difficult and costly.
