Ok I thought this was the "USA" we speak english here.I don't have any probs with different cultures,religions,lauguage.But when it starts to take over what this country is about that is when it becomes a problem.American's speak "ENGLISH".Why does everyone else feel so compelled to change it? Change things for the better where you live if you don't like it there change it,but leave the "USA" alone.

I know cancer is a horrible way to die. But somehow I find comfort in the knowledge that the people who flick their cigarrete butts out their car windows, will linger painfully at deaths door. Is it wrong for me to enjoy this idea?

Is it wrong to enjoy watching welfare moms suck down generic cancer sticks in front of their little bundles of government supported joy?

I've seen an arrangement by Vincenzo Calsolaro but there were only three barrs to it, it was a ploy, you had to pay $300.00 to join this classical guitar site, I've seen arrangements for piano, but not for classical guitar.I've asked, and searched the web for this for weeks my search also included teachers to no avail. My first child is a girl and I love her beyond words. All I want is for my second child to be healthy, I don't care about the sex of the child. Why do they keep saying this, and is it as rude as I feel it is?
My mother also did this when my sister was pregnant with her 2 children. What is she going to say if it turns out to be a boy? Should I say anything to them?

Our house is solid brick/cement built on concrete slab, surrounded by tiled-over patios and otherwise well-drained. Yet there are areas where mositure creeps up the walls and causes paint to flake off and the plaster layer or "capa fina" to crumble off. This problem is solved in building new houses by layering sheets of plastic between the ground & the concrete slab foundation. How can we treat the problem in existing house? Is there a way to drill holes into the walls to ventilate? (Walls are made of 1 exterior layer of bricks, an air gap, and 1 interior layer of bricks) Or is a better solution to just reface the interior with a material that takes dampness well like ceramic tiles? Any solutions??

A lady walks into a drug store and tells the pharmacist she needs some cyanide.

The pharmacist asks, "Why in the world do you need cyanide?"

The lady then explains she needs it to poison her husband.

The pharmacist's eyes get big and he says, "Lord have mercy, I can't give you cyanide to kill your husband! That's against the law! I'll lose my

So anyway, I was thinking of thowing out my TV(s) (or rather, pawning them. I mean, waste not want not...) . The reason being, I probably spend anywhere from 2 to 5 hours a day in front of the damn thing, when I could be doing something better. I could be socializing. I could be exercising. I could be learning an insturment, or maybe a foriegn language. And the thing is, I'm not even one of those "highly motivated people" that needs to be going forward all the time. I believe in stopping and smelling the roses, but I realized, TV is the most passive thing in the world. You actually turn your brain off when you watch it. It's been proven in scientific studies that people eat more when they're watching TV. Your brain can't even perform simple functions like telling you you're full.

So what I want to know is, does anyone have any experience or advice in this area? I can only see benefits, but I'm still reluctant, even scared to let go of the aptly named "idiot box".
