I'm 8 weeks pregnant and in the past week, my husban's sex drive has tripled. Is this normal and why is he acting like this? Anything I do, that normally didn't get his attention turns him on? Why?

he probably thinks your pregnant stomach is beautiful. sex during pregnancy is actually quite healthy. you shoudl be happy :)

That's just the way men get when the wife gets pregnant. You got part of him growing in you and that is special to him. Appreciate the fact that he is paying you so much attention. Many men act completely opposite.

I really don't know - men are just animals; they want it, they need it and they go after it no matter what.
I often wondered the same thing during my pregnancies. My first thought was; 'he's already got me pregnant - what more can he do'?
I've heard of men who have sex, from their pregnant wife, right up til the water breaks. There are even some who demand sex right after the woman gives birth. Like I said - men are animals!

I do not know, but I would encourage you, if you are feeling well enough, to act on it. My wife is at 15 weeks. We haven't made love since the baby was conceived. No matter how much I want her it doesn't matter. No matter what kind of attention I lavish on her or how much I take care of her it doesn't matter.
I am patient, but in all honesty, I'm also hurt.

He feels that he has already gotten you preg so now there are" no worries "and the further you get in the pregnancy, you will not be able to maneuver that easy. Better do do as much as you can.

It's Fertile Man Syndrome. He's proud of himself because he got you pregnant, and his pride is being expressed through his sex drive.

Because he knows that he will be cut off, soon. He is just trying to get as much as he can before that happens.

He has a subconscious fear that he will be cut off [sex wise] after the baby has been born.

a) It's different
b) He doesn't have to worry about getting you pregnant
c) Things are (generally) fresher and cleaner down there

cause he can have sex with out a condom and dosent have to pull out.
