My roommate has a turtle which she usually keeps separate from my cats, knowing how curious cats can be. But today she accidentally left a door open and when we came home, the turtle was gone, and there were water splashes next to the aquarium. We searched everywhere in the house but no sign of turtle. Can cats eat turtles? It seems like an un-natural form of food for cats, with the shell and everything. But if the cat did eat the turtle, is the cat going to get sick, or catch some sort of disease?
