Ok... i'm sitting down for this one....

By the time that I get home from work it is dark and cold outside, so I can't really take my dogs to the park like I do at least 2x a week when the weather is nice. I take them on walks, but usually cut them short at night.

My dogs are getting antsy, and causing mischief, lately. Especially the younger of the two, who is just over a year old. I think it is because they're not getting enough exercise, but I don't know how to help them burn their energy in the winter. Appreciate any suggestions.

I'm going into my 30th week and I'm trying to prepare for our first baby. I've done my homework, but you hear both good and bad things about all breast pumps. Sites like La Leche can't recommend specific pumps...so I don't know which pump to get.

I work & I've estimated that I'll need to pump about 50% of her milk.

Which electric breast pump is the best in your experience? Which is the worst?

i have a long haired cat, and he looses his fur in clumps. it is ridiculous the amount of fur that he looses, he gross and i can't take it anymore. i just want to control it. he hates for me to brush him too.

I am 14 weeks pregnant by my boyfriend of 7 months. he is not happy about it and wants me to have a termination because he woudl rather have babies when we're settled. I live in a shared house, he with his mother ,our jobs are reasonblly well-paid but not brilliant, and we wanted to do some travelling together before we get a house and think about children. In a way I do want to keep my baby and said that I woudl be prepared to go it alone if I have to, but I feel awful as it's not what he wants. Am I being silly?

I'm 44 and trying to figure out the best form of birth control. I'm concerned about using any with hormones at my age. I'm a non-smoker, pretty healthy, normal weight, have had 1 child and am in a monogamous relationship.

I definitely don't want to risk pregnancy. My son is grown, in college and I don't plan to have more children.

I'd like to get any info from women who've used the low estrogen pills, and any and all info on use of other forms of bc!
Any bad experiences, side effects, failures?

I've read so many statistics that go back and forth on the safety of taking the pill/hormones, especially for women over 35-40. A cancer can take so long to manifest itself, how can you really know?

I am using the Today sponge. I thought it was a pretty effective method, so it says on the box. In reading online medical sources, it has a 15-40 % failure rate out of 100!

I know a tubaligation is an option, but the thought of making it so final is a mental thing..no more babies.

I went to Costco yesterday and there was this company doing this demonstration of this dead sea mineral and oil mixture. I rubbed it over my hands and my hands got extra, silky, soft. The guy told me that I was suppose to use it all over my body and that it would last for about 2 days. So I bought several of the products. When I got home an hour later my hands seemed to have lost the softness. But when I woke up this morning they were soft again. Not as soft as yesterday but softer than last night.
Has anyone here ever used these products and what was your outcome?
Should I return them or try them?

The long standing joke is a illegal will appear on a court date. This guy had two priors been deported twice at least, his mom (or family) posts a $5000 bond for a crime with a 10 to 20 year sentence, suprise he's a no show. That DA and judge should explain how that happened. A American would have to post half a million to get out w/ priors and that charge.

Ok, I wore Nike tennis/running shoes a lot and I thought a pair of Airwalks would look good with my flared jeans. Anyhoo....

....how do you tuck the tied laces under the shoe tongue? Apparently, the style is to keep them hidden from view. I tried putting the shoes on and tying them and tucking the knot away from view but for some reason, it won't work. Do I need to leave them untied, tuck them in, and wear them like slippers? That would be a little uncomfortable for me since I like my shoes to feel tightly secure around my feet.
