I won't argue bias with you, because it is quite clear that you aren't going to really accept any intelligent discussion on the subject.
Instead, I submit to you that the critical difference in news reporting and editorials is the overall quality of the writing, and whether or not it inspires the reader to think a little more deeply.
As in all things in life, there are those who are "bona fide;" who have paid their dues and achieved recognition through nothing less than hard work and diligence.
And then, there are the counterfeit; the weak-****, wanna-be's and pretenders. Those who only know how to enflame the public or the reader with colored language and ad hominum appeals.
I realize this is getting a bit deep for you.
But as I said, it's not a matter of bias; just the quality and accuracy of the writing.
Are you aware that in Europe, many households subscribe to TWO newspapers?
One "right" and one "left."
They consider both points of view.

yes your right, however i prefer the CNN bias over the Fox News Bias.
Wouldn't it be dandy if they made a third national news competitor. This news station would have two anchors on air at the same time, in which one would be biased to the Right (conservative) and the other would be biased to the Left (liberal). This would create a neutral balance on the news they broadcast and every-now and then (for entertainment purposes), they would have heated debates on air.
What do you say to that? It's a billionaire dollar ideal!!!

they are too busy blaming the other side. a practice that needs to stop. i would be happy if everyone could just answer questions here without having to cast blame. the media does have abias and behind the bias lies the sad part,it is no longer an instrument for reporting news,it is another entertainment outlet.

Very few humans are without bias. The media is controlled by human beings, for the most part. Perhaps a few aliens.

You got that right . If you watch FOX NEWS you can see that it leans only one way , to the right . After all The White House admits that it only watches Fox News , why would they watch anything that disagrees with them .
CNN , Public TV and BBC are about as truthful as any

All studies have proved the bias of the liberal biased media.
The only question is the extent.
Mosy studies show it to be about 88% liberal biased.

You're absolutely right.
I watch CNN, because their bias is closer to reality then Fox News. Or if you want to be PC about it, fine - I prefer CNN because I prefer their bias.
It's always important, however - even with your preferred media outlet - to research for yourself anything that seems too good to be true.

Because then they'd have to admit how easily they are snowed by the biases of the media.

I prefer the FOX bias, although I'll admit they aren't always "fair", but they are the "balance". It really gets me that those who hate FOX swear that the others are not biased though.
