Ok, I wore Nike tennis/running shoes a lot and I thought a pair of Airwalks would look good with my flared jeans. Anyhoo....

....how do you tuck the tied laces under the shoe tongue? Apparently, the style is to keep them hidden from view. I tried putting the shoes on and tying them and tucking the knot away from view but for some reason, it won't work. Do I need to leave them untied, tuck them in, and wear them like slippers? That would be a little uncomfortable for me since I like my shoes to feel tightly secure around my feet.

Thanks for the help.

You need to change the way the shoes are laced. At the top, the lace needs to go into the top hole through the front (so that it points tword the back). This is the opposite of how the laces usually go into shoes. Then tie a bow like normal. It will be hidden behind the tounge and touching your foot.

bring the laces under the tongue, and then tie them, that way the knot is hidden from view but they are still secure!

Just shove the laces under the tongue. No one will see them anyway.

Just don't tie them and stuff them under the footpad. I used to do that, but I kept getting foot injuries because my foot would slide around.
