There's a ship moored up just of the quayside , on the side of the ship there is a ladder, each rung is spaced out at 1ft or 305mm, there are 14 rungs to the ladder ,the tide is rising at 2 inch per half an hour, it is already covering the 6th rung in 4 and a half hours , how many rungs on the ladder will the tide have covered?????

My husband and i got married when i was 21 and he was 23.He was an Australian here in the U.S.A as a pro-surfer i think he may have some sort of duel citzenship.Anyway i had just graduated from college and fell head over feet for but we seperated after a year.I shortly after found out i was pregnant with his son so i went and contacted him to inform him.He attended his sons birth and stuck around after for a little bit but we could not agree on anything so we split up.He moved back to Australia and i traveled to England for work and lived there for 6 months.I have traveled all over Europe for work with my son who is almost 7 now.His dad all of a sudden wrote to me stating that he wants visitation rights or co-custody of our son?He even claim he could have me arrested when i come back to the U.S for kidnapping?

My man and I have been going through some problems latley. We've never cheated on each other or anything, but whenever we fight he accuses me of cheating. Thats because he hit me before so i took off on him for the weekend a couple of times, to have drinks with my girls. He hasnt hit me since and I havent taken off on him. Now he says he wants me to act like his wife and not like his girlfriend. What does that mean? I am his girlfriend. We are not married and he has no intention of marrying me yet so why does he say that? He said that someday he might want to get married, but i dont understand.Whats does a girlfriend act like and why doesnt he want me to act like his girlfriend? I dont get it....... HELP!

I am 37 weeks pregnant and this week is the last week for me at work. I am very upset that no one at work has planned a baby shower for me. I work with group of about 25 people. My direct boss is a single male and usually the direct boss organizes something. Would it be appropriate to throw myself my own baby shower at work or how should I ask for it? I don't want to sound greedy but I am really hurt by it.

Im 34 weeks pregnant with my first son. I have had already pre term contractions and we have been on a constant roller coaster with him wanting to come to not wanting to come. Lately I have been having more contractions but these are not painful they just make my belly really really hard and makes it hard for me to walk and for the past two days i have had a lot of discharge. Just a little worried. please help me be more assured of what is going on. Thank you.
