No, that is an unfounded rumor. Granny Clampet died from complications caused by her rheumatism. Jed Clampet was a fashion consultant for the movie Wrong Turn (rumors that he was dating Eliza Dushku are unfounded), Lilly Mae Clampet was a member of Greenpeace and was last seen in the North Pacific Ocean swimming with whales in front of a Japanese Whaler and Jethro Bodine was Deputy Director of the C.I.A under the Clinton administration.

Granny and Mr. Drisdale have been having a secret affair for years now. Jethro joined the joined the Army and is currently being consulted by "W" for Iraq military strategy. Elli-May was last seen partying with Pairs Hilton and got in a fight with Linsay Lohan. She was dating Jack Osbourne for a while and got messed up on cocaine and started making porno movies. She's getting cleaned up in rehab and will be taking care of Brittney's kids while she's making her big comeback. Anna Nicole-Smith has had her eyes on Jed's money for a while now. He's been laying low. Although **** Cheney does keep asking for hunting advice. Please note, some of this is subject to speculation. :)
