I don't know where you are living, but I have been to quite a few churches where there are both blacks and whites in the congregation. Some had a white minister, some had a black minister....didn't seem to make much difference to the congregation either way.

Well I think part of it is geography. People of one race tend to live in the same community, for better or worse. Their churches, therefore, reflect the community. If you've got a mostly white neighborhood it stands to reason the attendees at the local church will be mostly white..

I would agree you see this in the Christian cults. I would point out that the Muslim cults do the same. The whole Black Muslim movement was born out of discrimination from both white Christians and Arab Muslims.

I don't believe Christian churches racially segrate. Your information is false....and so is your idea that all Muslims get along. Just look at what's happening in Iraq. Sunnis and Shiites are killing each other.

Because it all depends on how people worship. Black people would have the service/sermon different to white people. It kind of all depends on culture.

Jehovah's Witnesses do just that! There is no racial distinction in
our Kingdom Halls. There are Blacks worshiping alongside Hispanics alongside Asians alongside Caucasians alongside inter-racial couples and families. It is one of the reasons I began to study the Bible with them...that's the way it's SUPPOSED to be. :)

I cannot speak for the churches, but the meetings of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses are not segregated. We worship together in unity, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, or location.

Segregation in unwritten form. Part of the 'difference' is also geographic, but there are plenty of reasons.

because they share different cultural capital. muslims have truly united better than christians (but are more violent when they disagree), while christians only think they are one people. but truly hate each other
