When we got married a few years ago, we saw that Southwest was having a $99 one way airfare sale, so we just went the furthest we could get away from home, we ended up in Seattle and drove up to Vancouver for a few days, then back to Seattle for the Seahawks home opener. But, you could rent a cabin at a state park for a week and drive. The cabin could be around $400-$500, but if that's your only expense, that's not too bad. The cabins are equipped with a full kitchen so you could just pack food, again, cheaper that way. Good luck and congrats!

I'm not sure how cheap is cheap for you but, you could go to Sunset Beach Resort & Spa in Montego Bay, Jamaica. For around $600.00 buck per person round trip everything included. It's an All-Inclusive resort. I went there for my honeymoon and it was wonderful. Don't worry if you see a higher rate when you visit the website they always have a trip for around $600.00 you just have to keeping checking every day. Trust me you'll love it there!

You can always go to a home based business website for travel and down load a free vacation voucher. all that you would need to do is go to an overview call and wait for the code to be given for that voucher. then all you pay is the tax on that vacation and the around 6$ processing fee. They're really decent vacations. You really don't have to buy anything just listen to their presentation of their vacation packages and the business angle of it. I have helped a couple of friends out this way and yes I am in this biz and have even given family and friends free cruises and vacations. Just an idea. Here is my website if you would like to try it http://www.shahansdestinations.com
