As of today, my heart is faintly broken. I have
been searching all over town, for this special
lady. An old friend of mine, former co-worker,
who is dear to me. I have been looking and still
have not found her, yet. Word has it, that she
is single, and wanting a relationship. And what
better person than me, given where we left
off. Friends, with a love for anticipated love
event for the future. In other words, I knew she
was almost at the end of her rope, with her
ex boyfriend. Cause she gave me clues. One
day, you will be mine. Now that the day has
come, things, seem to keep us apart. I went
to the mall where she worked, and now they
are saying she is not here, anymore. Where
is she, does any body out there, have a
clue, or slightest idea. What type of occupation,
or what ? We are in the same city, but I do
not know here whereabouts. Can you help me,
find this woman ?

I am making a solution of DL-alpha-Glycerol Phosphate. I want it to be a 25mM solution. The Moleclar Mass is 194.36 (according to the label). I added 1.21 g of Glycerol -PO to 250 mL of water. I think this is the correct amount but the solution looks cloudy and it should be clear. Could someone let me know if I did this wrong?

Ok the deal is that I wanna go to another school, a better school, but they wont take me becuase my uncle is not my legal guardian! So I want to know how to make my uncle my legal guardian! my dad agrees! I went to this place and they sent me to the bank, and at the bank they told me that I need it a letter that says that my uncle is gonna be my legal guardian! and that the school should give me that letter! How can I ask the school? Do they have to give me that letter for my dad and the bank to sign???

I always feel like I'm worrying about one thing or another, busy being jealous or judgmental and then feeling guilty about it, self-conscious about what I look like and what others think of me, getting worried that I'm not well-liked, approval-addicted and ambition-driven, loudmouthed and outgoing, not afraid to take risks, which then equals more "trouble" and complication for me. I'm also always praying about my problems, which get solved but then more of them come up, leading me to struggle somewhat or grow distant in my faith sometimes. My boyfriend of 1.5 years, who is almost the exact opposite although we get along perfectly, seems to have SUCH a simpler life. He just gets up, eats food, goes to college, does well because he's like a genius, reads sports news and watches ESPN, hangs out with his buds and with me, sleeps all the time, and keeps devoted to God and our church...

How does this happen? I've tried to live like him but it's just not ME! Please help... I'm troubled.

I'm 33 weeks now and since the beginning of my pregnancy I have been worried. This is my first and I really don't know what to expect and I'm always afraid I'm not doing something right or doing something to harm the baby. At my 22 week ultrasound, she looked fine but since then I've had a bad UTI and was put on Cipro, a pregnancy category C for 10 days. And also I have been on category B antibiotics everyday since 12 weeks for recurrent UTI's. I haven't smoked or drank alcohol or anything like that, but sometimes I will sleep on my back, take hot showers or baths (as long as there isn't enough water in the tub that covers my stomach) and I go against what books say and eat cold lunch meat and tuna and all that jazz. Also my tummy really isn't that big for 33 weeks, and I feel like it should be bigger. Am I being over paranoid?

Hi all!

My husband and I are wanting to purchase 2 MP3 players in the near future. We've heard horror stories about Apple's ipod and are wanting to steer clear of that brand if at all possible. I was wondering what brands are the best, with at least 1GB of storage and aren't too expensive? I'd prefer to buy it at Wal-Mart, Target or Best Buy and not have to order it online. Thanks in advance for your help!! :)

p.s. As a side question---can you plug an MP3 player into the mid tower of a computer and have it play through the speakers? Thanks!

I read that you need to burn more calories than you take in, in order to lose weight. So if you're on an average 2,000 calorie a day diet, you have to burn 2,001 or more calories to lose a pound?

I know you burn calories all day doing meaningless things, but my treadmill claims I only work off about 200 calories if I walk on it for about 1/2 hour. So that means I need to burn an additional 1,800 calories in a day to lose one pound? Geesh!

Are there parents out there who are not living together but have an agreement of financial support without involving a court order?
If so how has it worked out for you? I'd appreciate details of your situation and any tips.
My daughter's father is good about paying his support in the amount we agreed upon. On occasion he drops little comments/kind of complains about it in his way (which I cannot STAND because I am her primary caregiver 99.9% of the time) but so far has held up his end of the deal.
On one hand I am afraid he's going to flake out or drop the ball at some point. On the other hand I reeaaallly don't want to go to court. We get along well and he loves his daughter very much and why rock the boat. Is this a mistake?
He just doesn't have the greatest history of responsibility and I worry.

If you believe in micro-evlution, isn't it just a matter of time until a species splits in two because the sexual equipment of two or more popuations evolves to the point where reproduction between teh populations is impossible.

Hi there! I am a Canadian resident and I completed my undergrad degree here in 2000. I am now considering grad school in the USA. Sororities are not that common in Canada so I was hoping for some American opinions. Is there value in joining a sorority at the graduate level? What does being a member of a sorority actually accomplish? Which sororities have the best reputations? I am considering studying at the University of Maryland at College Park.
