Hi all!

My husband and I are wanting to purchase 2 MP3 players in the near future. We've heard horror stories about Apple's ipod and are wanting to steer clear of that brand if at all possible. I was wondering what brands are the best, with at least 1GB of storage and aren't too expensive? I'd prefer to buy it at Wal-Mart, Target or Best Buy and not have to order it online. Thanks in advance for your help!! :)

p.s. As a side question---can you plug an MP3 player into the mid tower of a computer and have it play through the speakers? Thanks!

Its a not hassle-free call, Apple is via a techniques the suitable style for mp3 gamers and now also mp4 gamers, it really is video, as Apple iPods now also play video. in spite of the undeniable fact that if you're extremely conventional with a laptop and also you pick to personalize the things you purchase or to apply them in a fashion in which they received't were meant, or if you're actually not an total laptop fool, you'll commence to locate that many if no longer all of Apple's regulations and products are very annoying, that stated I nonetheless purchase their products, as a lot as I hate them because even as it comes right down to it, they're by way of a techniques the suitable, with regards to performance and for the laptop challenged accessible they're rather hassle-free to apply.

Most of the "good" ones are expensive. I just have a normal one. Don't know the brand. Bought it at target.
