cricket? what the heck? since when was cricket there? thats like 100th out of 99 sports... lol... yes it can because soccer stinks and basketball is the best $port in the world... even though the athletes are way overpaid... hence the $ in $port

i dont think so. in soccer all the countries are represented while in the nba only a few are. i think countries are more into the sports that their own kind are good at or are a part of. like yao ming, china is crazy for basketball you see him lead all players in allstar votes and the nba are setting up events and stuff over in china.
