I'm still not over this. Its been so long. I haven't done anything and suddenly my friend does not want to speak to me anymore. We graduated from school and live in different states. I thought that I would be able to keep in contact but its always been a one way street and never got return calls. I stopped calling but lately I find myself depressed, unable to eat well or sleep well and contemplate what it is that would cause my friend to completely ignore me. Keep asking myself questions and in great despair. But the last time I called I was told not to and told that I was never a friend to this person which I know is untrue. I kept asking what I did and was not given an answer. What should I do? Its not easy to put this behind me. But it tops my resolution for 2007. Any sensitive and serious advice is appreciated.

I started a business 6 years ago and didnt do much bookkeeping then. I used an inheritance for funding but, according to my new office manager, apparently never made any real profit - just spent the inheritance. I closed in 2006 with no revenue and lots of expenses. I still have expenses related to the business. Now I have a full time employee job and taxes withheld. With good records and real expenses, can my business loss offset my current tax liability if I show no income or losses for the prior 5 years?

I've lived in 2 different apartment buildings, and mice in the first one made me move out. The building I live in now is taken care of much better, but I had a mouse in here too! I've been living in the building for a year and never really noticed it before. My apartment is sorta messy, but that shouldn't attract them, just give them more places to hide, right? Also, in this building, and the last one, there are 3 floors with about 45 apartments total, with the basement serving as the garage (garbage recepticles are kept in the garage as well). We have the radiators that are along the floor... Are apartments like this just prone to mice? I know that I didn't have one stow away in my stuff when I moved either because I went through all of my stuff when I packed it too. Can anyone offer me any help or suggestions? Knowing that there's a mouse somewhere even in this buiding just gives me the creeps!

I have to stay up tonight to work on a paper.
I'm drinking coffee....I usually don't go to sleep until a couple of hours from now.
But I know I'll be tired, later, and I most likely will only b able to get 2 hours of sleep if even that.

I was thinking I could take an hour nap if I really get sleepy...then wake up and work on my paper again; will that refresh me?

What can I do to stay alert and awake?

the (hijab?? sorry, sp) out of choice and respect for themselves and not because their culture forces them to out of possessiveness? I was always taught the latter, basically, and read something recently that someone posted that made me think I had been taught wrong.

My fiancee is jealous and insecure about the women friends that i talk to. i have a lot of female friends. I talk to them. don't want to sleep with them. People who say animals are treated bad ither way animals will be treated bad, even if theyre not animals people eat. I love when people say animals get treated badly So keep weaing your leather shoes and jackets. I bet you kill flies and roaches, mice all the time, theyre animals too. Oh and there are alot of animal products in make up and soaps and stuff. I wouldnt say its healthier either, say i ate meat once a week or once a month would that be worse than eating none ever? Only reason i see to be a vegetarian is the taste of meat and saving money and maybe the cooking process. Plants also get sprayed with chemicals and whatnot. Even if you dont eat the meat the cow will live and then die and someone will eat it, people or other animals. We wernt put at the top food chain to eat vegetatables! and people who claim they are vegetarian but eat fish, just stop it please.
