I take it to mean that the person is not focused on worldy things, but on the teachings of the Bible that will get them to Heaven.

Well, I think it depends on the context of the conversation as a whole. If you just walk up to me and say "My eyes are on heavenly things" and walk away, I'd think you were just a goal oriented person who's thoughts of what heavenly things are might differ from mine.

But say you were telling me about getting a new job, a new outfit or redoing your kitchen, and THEN said that.. then I'd just think you were using "heavenly" euphamistically, or to say you want the best of... whatever it is (job, clothing, etc.).

It means that the person saying this phrase has more concern on Godly ways as taught in the Bible and not on secular things..

I would interpret this to mean, the person who said this is proceeding through life as a Christian, and trying to remain so. Walking with the Lord, and living everyday as best as they can in a Christian manner, storing all of their treasures in heaven. God bless****

It would mean that my eyes are not focused to worldly things; they are only focused to things that are beautiful, though they are not beautiful at all. Like, the innate goodness in a man, even if he has done something wrong.

This means that this particular person views the world through the eyes of faith and salvation. By this they see the beauty in everyday events and can disregard all of the negativity.

the unique declaring became "care kills a cat", from a 1598 play through Ben Jonson titled each and every guy in His Humour. "Care" meant that irritating became undesirable for your well-being and can want to steer on to an early grave. This word recognizes the actual undeniable truth that cats are very careful animals. through the years, the note "care" developed into "interest."
