Is it because there are too many "minorities" there or something? All the White people in Florida either live upstate, or in gated communities...

Yeah, the phenomenon is called "white flight." When minorities move in, whites move out to avoid the crime, disease and foreign culture.

The Nationalist Movement has a clear solution to this problem.

Um, there are a lot of white people in Miami Dade. It just so happens that many many "minorities" (mostly Cubans) moved into the area following Fidel coming to power. I agree that there is a large degree of segregation in neighborhoods, just like in every other major city. But, and I have no numbers for this, I believe that Miami is far less segregated than many of the other major cities that I have been to. In New York, the whites live downtown and the others up, not just on the island, but in all the boroughs. In LA, there are huge segregation problems. There was an article in the Palm Beach post last week on this subject, which stated that in surveys, whites were comfortable with 40% blacks in their neighborhood, but a higher percentage of blacks did not feel comfortable living around whites. I personally think that rich white folks don't give a **** what color you are, as long as you got some cash, and that's probably the main reason that whites somewhat decrepit downtown Miami for the suburbs of South Florida.

PS, Hispanic or not, I know several Cubans who would call themselves (rightfully) white, despite being first generation American First-language Spanish speakers.

Maybe 'white flight' is partially true in some cases. But I think it's less about white people 'running away' and more about how there are a lot of 'minorities' in general since it's close to Puerto Rico, Cuba, etc.. There are a lot of Mexicans in the south west. I don't think it's because the white people are running away from them, it's just that that's where a lot of Mexicans end up living because it's the first place they end up.

I think it's funny when people treat Cubans as a race as if Cubans can't be white. And many Cubans do that, too bad they segregate themselfes.

Imagine Miami beeing invaded by minorities like Cameron Díaz...

Who told you people get killed in Cuba? Was your far right winged mother or father? I've never heard that happening in Cuba. Cuba is one of the safest places in Earth, I mean it. No civilian has guns in Cuba.

Please...

They don't want to get gang raped, robbed, shot at, assaulted, or otherwise screwed over in the most crime riddled part of the country.
