I was fixed up a yr. ago by a friend that she met on the internet. He seemed to be more my type. We've seen each other x2 in the last year. Its a long distance relationship. Although, he calls me when he's lonely and for holidays or when he really needs someone to talk to about serious stuff in his life. I've caught him talking to other women. He says we'll be together one day. Right now he is career oriented with his job and that I need to give it time. Should I move on or wait to see if something pans out. He knows that I truly have feelings for him; also.

For example, instead of punishing schools for not admitting minorities the government comes up with affirmative action which leads schools to pick minority candidates, regardless of if they deserve to attend or not. Certain students may be admitted based on their ethnicity or sex rather than their academic achievement.

Special government agencies, VAWA comes to mind, dedicated to the prevention of violence against women and women alone. Instead of an agency that strides to prevent violence against all people.

My question to you is... will we ever enter a state of mind where we move to give ALL people an education and stride to prevent violence against ALL people rather than a specific group? Or will we continue to run the illogical course where inequality is shifted from the majority to the minority?

For God's sake... somebody show the US government how Europe runs things.

I've been eating more veggie meals lately and have noticed alot more gas in my stomach.... Its become a problem as my "farting"
has escalated..... I am trying to find some relief naturally, does
"Beano" work?....is there another natural product or herb that
can help here?....I am not joking here, this is a serious question
as I realize it might sound funny...any help would be appreciated!!

Suppose someone had sex December 9th and again 22nd(yes, it was with the same guy...lol)
I still got my "period" on its due date (December 28th)...But my period was only 2-3 days long, and usually it's a week or even over sometimes. Yesterday, I also realized that I started having lower abdominal pains...It's not really a pain, it's more of just pressure on my lower abdomin. Could I be pregnant?
If so- would it be too early to take an EPT or First Response test?

I've been watching an unhealthy amount of national geographic, science channel and the discovery channel.

what i notice is that there's an obscene amount of assuming being done in the name of fact or "probability".

You've got some dude who figures some dude is buried in some place and it's the worlds right to see his bones and gaze in awe at his treasures in some museum. Then there's the other dudes arguing over what's in the middle of a galaxy, how the universe is made, and are making computer models to prove it, blahblahblah.

So, I guess what I'm asking is if there should be boundaries to what we should know. And then maybe acceptance of what we don't.

Should we strive to find the answer's to all things? Is that our evolution?

Should we dig up that dudes grave to find all those buried secrets and mysteries? Do we really need to know what's at the end of the universe, and how it was made? is it necessary? Or are we just inevitably assuming things and calling them fact or probability?

I'm an avid collector of most, if not all things teddy bear related. I have about 400 or so bears (according to my partner) - I love reading about them, cross stitching them, collecting them & would also like to know if there is a club in Australia dedicated to teddies & their collectors...I'd love to hear from fellow bear enthusiasts around the world - I also do cross stitching, knitting, iris folding (card making)!!
