I have a 98 chevy malibu, 6 cylinder, good condition, and I wanted to know how much I could sell it for or what would I get for it at a dealership as a trade in? Please help me.

Well the easiest way to check is http://www.kellybluebook.com and click on used cars. Then choose model, make, condition of car, and what feature ur car has, then kelly blue book will give you a FREE estimate on how much your car is worth.
Kelly Blue Book is the most used website/book to find a cars worth!

A dealer would maybe give you $2000+/-
Private party value is $2750+
I used average miles, and a few fairly common options.
www.kbb.com is a good bet
private party is a good guess of what you could sell it for
wholesale is a good guess at what the dealer would give you for it
-do not use "excellent" as that condition does not really exist

not much, drive it to your local carmax and get an appraisal. Then go to a real dealership dont tell them how much carmax was giving you and go from there.
