I was fixed up a yr. ago by a friend that she met on the internet. He seemed to be more my type. We've seen each other x2 in the last year. Its a long distance relationship. Although, he calls me when he's lonely and for holidays or when he really needs someone to talk to about serious stuff in his life. I've caught him talking to other women. He says we'll be together one day. Right now he is career oriented with his job and that I need to give it time. Should I move on or wait to see if something pans out. He knows that I truly have feelings for him; also.

Yes, you should move on, find someone closer...
If he loved and wanted you, he would come get you
or send for you...He would not take a chance on losing you.

Seeing each other twice and only interacting over the phone or Internet hardly makes a relationship even if the communications are personal and serious. I wouldn't count on a long distance relationship. Expand your horizons. I'm older and I have a lot of relationship experience. I believe that it is best try and grow and problem solve with someone that you can share a slice of real face to face life with. Enjoy the friendship over the distance but don't count on it for a real exclusive together relationship.

Laura, what are you getting out of this relationship? You will only stay in a relationship if you get enough feedback of the right kind. You can answer your own question...even by asking it you have given yourself the answer. If you really felt the relationship was solid, was going somewhere, you wouldn't have to ask. So, trust your own instincts, do what you truly want to do. Honor yourself.

You dont really know this guy.... You say he only calls you when it suits him. But talking to other women doesnt necessarily mean anything. Half the population is female - Im sure you talk to other men?

I would keep my options open... dont sit around waiting for him, but dont totally blow him off either. See what happens, but if you meet someone else in the meantime dont just dismiss them.

Good luck.
