OK heres the deal...I reackon she needs my love to help with her depression...only she thinks shes better off alone...I am depressed too and I need her to help me outta mine! i reakon if we just love each other and take things bit by bit, have trust and rely on one another we could come though this....what do you reackon?

my dog is called tia, she is a west highland white terrier, her best quality is how happy and excited she gets when you see her in the morning. Her backend goes mad wagging her whole body not just her tale. It takes me 20 minutes in the morning to be able to get up and make myself a cuppa as she wants my full attention and she deserves it

i have braces. a couple nights ago my sister snuck up on me and jumped on my back but she hit my mouth when she did that. now i have 2 cuts on the inside of my bottom lip. it hurts really bad to eat things cuz the cuts will either rub against my braces or against the food. is there any way that i can get it to stop hurting?

I'm guessing it means to be ahead of your opponents in some way, but I just want to know for sure. My history teacher used the phrase in my coursework information, and it would be a shame if I wasted my time going off on the wrong track because of a misunderstood phrase!

If anyone can help I'd be extremely grateful.

A burglar has just made it into the house he's intending ransacking, and he's looking around for stuff to steal. All of a sudden, a little voice pipes up, "I can see you, and so can Jesus!"

Startled, the burglar looks around the room. No one there at all, so he goes back to his business.

"I can see you, and so can Jesus!"

The burglar jumps again, and takes a longer look around the room. Over in the corner by the window, almost obscured by curtains, is a cage in which sits a parrot, who pipes up again, "I can see you, and so can Jesus!"

"So what," says the burglar, "you're only a parrot!"

To which the parrot replies, "Maybe, but Jesus is a rottweiler!"

When I am downloading the transfer speed hovers around 112 Mbps, when I used to be on my previous ISP, dowloads were transfering at around 224 Mbps, I am using a supposidly 2meg broadband speed, and using an speedtouch 330 adsl modem, any idea's?

There is a lady who I find to be most interesting. She is funny and candid, sometimes sarcastic, and then very serious when necessary.

I always look for her when I am on Answers, and every once in a while I see that she is here, my heart jumps.

I have looked at her 360, and made a comment or two, but she has not replied. I feel stupid, but I can't stop thinking about her.

And no, I'm not a child. We are both in our 30's. I know I'll get over it, but for now, she is definitely my favourite!

Any of you feel like that about someone here?
