my last baby was born premature because of too much amniotic fluid. Her fontanels were way wider than they should have been and it was really scary for a time although everything turned out ok and she is fine now. I am pregnant again and am afraid that this may happen again. Does it usually repeat? I used to drink literally a gallon of water a day with my last pregnancy, but now am afraid to drink too much even though my doctor says it has nothing to do with water retention. What casues it and how can I prevent it from happening again? I REALLY want to carry this baby to full term.

I'm 18 yrs old, and I've never had a boyfriend, never been kissed, etc., mostly because of lack of interest and opportunity. The only crush I've ever had was at camp, and I never saw him again. I went to an all girls' high school (don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have done anything else for the world), and never really knew any boys, except through my brothers' and my parents' friends. Mostly boys just have the effect of making me extremely nervous, but now that I'm in college all of my friends are starting to meet boys and talk about that sort of thing, but they still just freak me out. Is there something wrong with me? Is it possible just to not be interested in dating etc? I don't have an older sister, and my best friend has a boyfriend already (for whom she has fallen head over heels, and he has done the same for her) so I don't have anybody to ask... Help?

I don't think it is ok to be in the U.S. illegally! I came in the front door from Canada. What makes illegals think they can come in the back door and get special treatment. They don't belong here in the U.S.! They come in through my window uninvited and expect me to feed them and their children and to pay them on top of that? We are fresh out of handouts!! If I can become American legally, so can they. By the way, they should learn the language before they apply! Maybe our politicians need a lesson on this. I'm tired of pressing 1 for English, arn't you?

What should the husband do? How can he find out who is the real father? We have heard that as long as the couple was married at any time during the pregnancy the married husband will be named the father of the child (and have to pay support). How can the ex-husband get a DNA test done? The hospital here says they 'do not do them there' and to 'call Medicaid'. There is a chance the ex-husband won't even know when or where the baby is born. Does he have 'six months' to deny paternity? Is it incredible hard to get husbands name off the birth certificate once ex-wife puts it on?
And what if the divorce isn't even final when the baby is born?

Aunt Frieda used to make something she called "kleuten" sp?? They were kind of chewy dumplings that she put on top of stew or soup. I know they had flour and egg in them but I don't know what else. Can't find them in any German cookbook. Can anyone help?
