Some rich countries pretend to assist others wheras they are finding ways to exploit the underprivilegde countries, take for example what is presently happening in Africa by China, USA, Japan, etc. in order to have influence in the country in question. Why should the rich not help to train poor countries and not give direct loans which end up in private pockets. Foreign influence help to maintain a president in power for a long time, thereby abusing the principle of democracy. Take the case of one man serving at least 20 years in office as president. Why does this not happen in western world only in Africa?

Why do the people who I come across who smoke pot automatically assume that I am lying when I ...?

tell them I do not and have not ever tried it? Has it really become so mainstream that it is automatically assumed that people use it rather than not?

Does anyone else feel sorry for Saddam?

I personally feel that he has been made the scapegoat for 911, with which he had nothing to do. His kids were killed in cold blood and the way the his trial was conducted in a banana court was grossly unfair as reported international legal bodies. The decision to execute him seems more political than criminal.

would you play second fiddle?

i have been i my marrige now nearly ten years and feel im playing second fiddle to my wifes 3 children and now grandaughter,, like baby sitting for instance if we have made plans to have a night out or a cosy night in if her daughter rings up to ask for a last min baby sitter . she just forgets about me and the next thing is the baby is here with night bag and all. it has been the same throught our marrige with her children and i cant seem to get it through to her that im feeling well left out herein other words she put her kids needs before ours .. what should i do ???

What are your New Year's resolutions this upcoming year?

In my family we always make two. One spiritual and one personal.

Mine are to attend First Friday Adoration at least once this year (spiritual) and to excercise more and drop 20 pounds by Dec.

Best Route to Crystal River, FL?

Driving down from S.C. - Yahoo Directions say to go I95 to I295 to I10 to 301. I was going to drive in by way of I95 to I295 to I10 to I75. Which would be faster? Don't want to do a lot of stop-n-go driving.
