You can get saffron from most Indian grocery stores. It is significantly less expensive there than at any high end grocery store. In a pinch? you can use Turmeric instead.

Most supermarkets sell it these days. Tesco and Sainsburies definitely :) In the section with the spices.

high end specialty food shops for the good stuff. . but be prepared to pay. This is a quite expensive spice. Happy cooking

Any big supermarket should have that in it's "spices" section - here in Europe at least. Otherwise you can try Indian or Arab grocery stores.

I wouldn't bother. I bought it in tescos, for the price, it was nothing special. Colours the rice nicely though.
