Yes. I do feel sorry for him. People should teach him to be good not just kill him.

Why would someone feel bad for someone dying that killed over 500 people!!! Who knows how many lives he had destroyed??? He is a criminal and who cares about if he lives or not! If we did not execute Saddam he probably would have killed even more people maybe some more bombing in the United States. There are some bad people in the world, but Saddam is not one of them, he is worse.

I think that you are confused.
In no way has Saddam been made a "scapegoat for 9/11."
Saddam has been gassing his own people for years. He has cut off the limbs of people in front of their families.
Ask the Kurds how they feel about Saddam.
Saddam is a monster and deserves everything he gets.

If Saddam was given a 100 more sons and daughters, then all of them were starved to death in front of his eyes, then he was sent to solitary confinement for the rest of his natural life so he could remember their faces, he still wouldn't have paid for all the crimes he committed during his dictatorship. Take 5 minutes of your time to do a little research before posting questions like this.

Leave 9-11 out of it, that is not why he was tried and convicted by his own people... Hitler. Stalin, Pol Pot, all thought they were great leaders, maintaining their power over the bodies of millions of their own starved and executed subjects.... when you begin feeling sorry for this type of world leader maybe you need to take a step back and ask yourself just where you stand in the political sympathy catagory?

You're joking, right? You don't remember 1991? He ordered the gassing of his own people in Northern Iraq. Selective memory or what. The verdict was handed down because of this. It was from his own country. Did you know that Iraq has its own laws?
Before you cry any tears for this monster, go over there and see what happened because of him. Until then get educated and stop listening to bleeding hearts.
This was joke, wasn't it. No one alive today could be serious about what you said.

Dude, you need to do a little research before you feel sorry for that man.
He ruined that country. His children were horrible people.
They murdered and raped people for no reason.
I just read a book by Zainab Salbi, it was a true story written by someone who grew up under the rule of Saddam. She watched him destroy that country, families, friendships, ask her if she feels bad for him.

I don't feel sorry for him, as he was a tyrannical dictator responsible for the deaths of many. I do not, however, feel that anyone has the right to take the life of another...killing as punishment for killing is hypocritical!

No.
I don't believe in the death penalty for anybody, but Saddam is a very bad person. I feel bad that we are continuing to use capital punishment, but that's for us, not for him. We should be better than that.

Is there ANYTHING that I could do to HELP you ? No kidding !! Cause right now I'm BAFFLED how you can say that his punishment is 'political' when HE KILLED HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE. . . . . PEOPLE get it ? HUMAN BEINGS. . . .Like your parents, your grandma, your brother, your sister, your aunt, your uncle, your neighbors, your classmates, your teachers, your mailman, your store clerks, your policemen, your firemen, your friends, our friends, our families, etc. etc.
