Im sorry I forgot to add why I like the film.
I liked the movie because it didn't have a lot of gore or "adult" content.Plus it has something that some films lake these days a intresting plot.

My favorite of this year was Little Miss Sunshine. It was hilarious, extremely unique, and surprisingly touching. Definitely the best film of 06 and a feel-good flick. I bought it the day it came out.

If you mean movies that actually came out this year, I have to go with "Little Miss Sunshine." It was unpredictable and funny. That said, I do not go to the cinema that much, because it is a big ripoff. So I have not really seen that many recent movies. I will not really know all that was good until early next year when I've rented everything I want to see.
As you say you don't care how old the movie is, I presume you are counting rentals. In that case, I have to go with "Last Life in the Universe." It is an odd and stylish Asian film about a man whose suicide attempt is thwarted by mobsters, which leads him on a strange, romantic adventure.

X-men the last stand. I love that movie. I like the action. The acting is great. And the story with Jean Grey (Phoenix) is sad but so cool. I also love how they "unleashed" Storm. This movie showed her true power. Not like One or Two.

Without a doubt, Casino Royale is the best movie of 2006. It is James Bond as he should be. I just loved the movie.

I chose this movie because 2006 has been a pretty crappy year and then I watched this movie and I laughed so hard I had tears flowing from my eyes and my sides hurt so bad. I had no idea that a good hard laugh could feel so refreshing!

Clerks 2 was great, so was Labyrinth
but my best movie of 06 goes to....Blood Diamond
awesome movie kept me on edge from start to finish

My favorite movie was Click, it made me laugh and cry. I just love Adam Sandler! I like movies that make me feel good when I'm watching it, most movies that are out are all killing and blood and gore. It's depressing.

i saw a film on tv, so not at cinema and wasnt released in 2006 but still saw it in 2006 and that was 'The labyrinth' with David Bowie in, aww it was great, although didnt quite understand the ending
